TCT:  Members that require the 8 Hour TCT training should take it at the next available opportunity. TCT training must be completed every 5 years.                        The next 8 hour TCT class will be held October 4, 2008.   This class will be presented  at Flotilla 08-04 in Sarasota .  Class will start at 8:30 A.M.  A lunch will be provided for $5.00.   There will be a yearly one hour TCT  review given within the Flotilla.   This is in addition to the 8 hour TCT  requirement every 5 years.  There will also be a TCT one- hour class presented at the 2008 District Conference in Jacksonville on Sunday, September 21, 2008..

This is a reminder to all that when you submit a change of your email address (or any other personal information), you must also complete form 7028 and send the form to your FSO-IS. 

 
Division and Flotilla staff officers need to stress this information to their members.

They also need to check to verify that the officers they have appointed (or are newly appointed) also have their office correctly designated in AUXDATA.  This is becoming increasingly critical, as many new services are based solely on the information in AUXDATA.  If their information in AUXDATA is out of date or incorrect, they are out of the loop.

Please Note:

Uniformity is a concern regarding wearing the Auxiliary Working Blues T-shirt in lieu of the Working Blues shirt while Under Way patrolling,    If all crew members are wearing Working Blues, and it is hot enough to take off that shirt layer and simply wear the Working Blue T-shirt to keep cool, it is authorized, as long as everyone in uniform does the same thing, and it is the authorized T-shirt.  This is no different than the guidance provided to the stations or cutters within Sector St. Petersburg.
